I am building a large list of connections to LinkedIn. Does anyone know how to manage a large list of connections?
I wish I had a large network on Linked In, however, I do not want to spammers and recruiters in my network. It would be very helpful if someone could give a good insite on how to manage a large network.
Tara, I can not help the question as stated – but I would like to help. – You do not say why you want to build a broadband connection list that you do you get? Even if you have a large network, you will not be able to use introductions from people who do not know and trust you. The practical standpoint is that you can not take advantage of your connections, asking: "Are you a spammer? "The only solution to have a good network of knowledge and the confidence of all the people you connect. This will give you a smaller network, but you can count on. Let's say you want to meet Mrs. X – and find out that Mrs. X is a conneciton your former co-wroks Ray. Are you using an "introduction" you can ask Ray to introduce you to Mrs. X – and count on Ray to do it for you. (As long as you explain why and have a good reason) If you connect Ms. X through a random person in the world, you can not expect them to introduce someone they do not know the influence Mrs X now you can? This is not a game where the person with the most connections wins, it is a tool where people with the best network to large Things -. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking with it
