Rich Dad Poor Dad Altered My Thinking On The Best Home Business Opportunities

When I read the book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon L. Lechter earlier this year it really elevated my thinking to a new level. This book was originally published over 10 years ago and for the life of me I have no idea why I have not read this book before this year.  This book opens up my eyes to the best home business opportunities that are available for the person ready to commit to their success.  I am originally from Barbados West Indies, but I have done most of my growing up in America.

I was bombarded at an early age to get good grades in school, go to college, get a good job and retire and sail off into the sunset. I followed that path for many years, but, now I am part of the best home business opportunities.  When you open your mind to a different way of achieving something, it is amazing how many different opportunities open up for you.  When I was in my phase of being at a job for twenty years plus it would have been highly improbable that I would have looked at any other favorable chance with an open mind.  The tunnel vision that I had back then would have kept me in my box.

When I look at my life almost a year later after reading “Rich Dad, Poor Dad“, I now live my life to a different beat.  I no longer deprive my essential self by conforming to the calling of my social self.  I am truly taking advantage of the free enterprise that is available for all of us.  The clear defined path that was outlined for us as a child by our parents, teachers and anyone who has influenced our lives definitely does not work.  The beautiful thing about life is we may change our path without having to worry about the age factor.  When I was on that path earlier in my life I stayed on track because of the responsibility that I felt for my family.  I would be a selfish person if I was to leave a good paying job to embark on an enterprise that was not guarantee to work.

The self talk in my head stated that I had a family who depended on me and they were no way in the world that I could change what I have always done.  When you always do what you always done you will always get what you always got.  The catalyst to make a change occurred was when my boss walks into the store and stated that my services were no longer needed. The decision was made for me at the time but all subsequent decisions has been all mine.  I have found the best home business opportunities which are allowing me all the things that my essential self desires.  The decision to become an entrepreneur has lead me to new heights in my life, relationship and business.  The joy which I always wished for is now a common day occurrence.  Live your dreams and get off that path.
