Parents haven’t filled out 2007 income tax?
What do I put for question 80 on the FAFSA: “Enter the amount of your parents’ income tax for 2007″ Is it okay if I just use the 2006 income taxes? My parents haven’t gotten any new jobs so…what should I do?
I really do need to do this fast because two colleges have already contacted me stating that I need to fill out the fafsa by Feb 15th or else they won’t consider me for aid. (I applied for several grants).
Ask your parents to fill their taxes out early. By Valentines day and do your fafsa then. I would not use their 06 income because you will just have to go back and correct it. Just concentrate on getting parents to do theirs ASAP.
