What do you think of my Senator, the “honorable” Bill Nelson of Florida?
Like Mary Landrieu and Ben Nelson, he too negotiated a special deal for the citizens of Florida (well, at least for citizens in 3 counties). He was able to spare the elderly in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami Dade counties from the Medicare Advantage cuts and increased taxes but the heck with the other counties, in fact the other counties get to subsidize the rich old retirees in those special counties so the rest of the state’s elderly will pay MORE. Why did he do this? Those 3 counties are heavy democrats.
What do you think of that gem of a Senator? America…haven’t we had enough of these games? They ruin our lives and we reward them with a golden parachute when they retire?
I used to like him, however, although he seems like a nice guy, i do not approve of the deal he made. I’ll soon be able to vote and will most likely vote against him. I love the state of Florida as much as I love this nation and I will vote someone in that will help ALL his constituents, not only the ones that vote for him.
Since you’re also from Florida may I suggest some candidates in the 2010 elections:
Marco Rubio for Senate (help defeat the liberal Charlie Crist. Rubio was endorsed by Gov. Mike Huckabee and Sen. Fred Thompson)
